School in Primorye cordoned off due to toy grenade
A toy grenade caused unrest at a school in the village of Vrangel in the Nakhodka city district, DEITA.RU reports, citing the Primorsky Krai Ministry of Internal Affairs.
A 27-year-old local resident reported to police that a member of the public was standing near a school on Babkina Street holding an object similar to a grenade. Law enforcement officers immediately began working at the specified address to establish the identity and location of the suspected ammunition.
The social network reported that the school in Vrangel was blocked, and police officers went to the scene and, after searching the area with a guide dog, found a plastic grenade in the grass. Obviously, the citizen who kicked it out will not be punished, but an administrative fine may be imposed for a false call to emergency services. (In fact, this is a deliberate mistake; the woman seemed to seriously believe that the grenade in the hand of a passerby could be real.)
