Russian military man talks about losses on first day of SVO

Sergeant Dmitry Kuzmichev suffered the first loss of the Russian Guard 10 minutes after crossing the border on the first day of the Northern Military District's operations. The Russian soldier told TASS in an interview.

According to the source, he realized a day before the start of the special military operation that "there would be a lot of grief throughout the country" and regretted that he had not managed to write a will. His participation in the first stage of military operations was interrupted on the third day, since he was wounded on the second day of the special operation and was evacuated to Moscow on the third day, details of which the veteran shared.

Kuzmichev reported that after treatment he continued serving on the border of the Belgorod region and, although his contract was terminated shortly before the announcement of partial mobilization in the Russian Federation, he did not receive a summons and continued to lead a "civilian life."

The Russian Federation has been conducting special military operations on the territory of Ukraine since February 24, 2022. Against this backdrop, the United States and its allies in the North Atlantic Alliance continue to supply weapons to the Ukrainian army, allocating tens of billions of dollars for this purpose. Moscow has repeatedly stated that arms supplies from the West will only prolong the conflict and that arms supplies are a legitimate target for Russian forces.
