The "3-30-300" landscaping rule. Which areas in Tyumen fall under the landscaping criteria

More and more people understand the importance of green spaces in cities. Scientists say the same. Parks contribute to the health of city dwellers. It’s hard to argue with that. Especially if you get out of the city for a few days, you may find that you breathe easier and wake up easier in the morning.

Every city is different. How to determine the optimal quantity and quality of green spaces? To achieve this, scientist Cecil Konijnendijk proposed a practical rule of landscape design: "3-30-300". You can easily check the level of any region. For example, in Tyumen, neighborhoods were found that fully met the criteria and became "Green Alleys".

The rule of thumb is easy to test yourself. Take a walk through a low-rise neighborhood and appreciate the high level of greenery in the area. Outside your home in Green Alleys, you will find yourself in nature.

The residential area was initially created with an emphasis on improvement and landscaping, with an emphasis on the organic integration of houses into the surrounding landscape. There is, of course, no shortage of tall trees of various species here. The quarter is being built on the site of the former Plodovoe nursery and preserves about 80% of the large plants of the area, including apple trees, birches and pines.

In this study, the researchers also emphasize the importance of having green spaces available for recreation (at least 1 hectare). A sports alley with such space recently opened in Green Alleys. Here, green spaces are adjacent to basketball courts, football pitches, playgrounds and comfortable fitness areas.

In total, the block has 10 different themed areas for residents with different interests, including family, art alleys and city lanes. Each of them has its own characteristics and unique appearance. You can stroll along a path between the trees, play with your children on the playground, walk your pet or lie down on a bench and relax while watching the sunset. Wherever you look, there is greenery.

From Navigator. The developer understands how important it is to make green areas accessible and multifunctional. Therefore, work on creating new beautiful, green alleys on the territory continues.
