Curse on the hood: in Kuytun, a reckless driver threatened a traffic police inspector with a mystical reprisal
Like other claims of the hapless driver, the promise to send curses did not help him to avoid responsibility.
The offending driver was detained in the village of Kuytun in the Irkutsk region. The man, who was trying to escape responsibility for speeding, not only ran away from traffic police investigators, but also threatened them with obscene language.
The incident was captured on video released by traffic investigators in the area. The video shows the detained driver, sitting in a patrol car, trying to convince investigators that he was not driving the car, but simply "driving down a hill." But realizing that his excuses are useless, the man turns into a threat, promising to harm the inspector.
It turned out that the 39-year-old reckless driver, driving a Toyota Premio, attracted the attention of traffic police officers for speeding. When asked to stop, he only accelerated to avoid pursuit. After a short chase, the criminal was detained.
The detained driver showed clear signs of alcohol intoxication, but he refused to participate in the investigation. Moreover, it turned out that this man had already lost his license in 2016 for drunk driving.
Administrative reports were drawn up for violators who refused to take a breathalyzer and did not obey the police's legal demands to stop.
