Comedian Dmitry Gavrilov fined 30,000 rubles in case of discrediting the Russian Armed Forces

Comedian Dmitry Gavrilov was fined 30 thousand rubles in an administrative case for discrediting the Russian Armed Forces. This was reported by TASS in connection with the Nizhny Novgorod District Court.

The decision on the case was made by Judge Dmitry Nesterov. Gavrilov was charged with posting a video on his YouTube channel in January last year with signs of violating administrative legislation. In court, the comedian fully admitted his guilt. According to him, the video was posted for humorous purposes.

Earlier, the capital's court fined the vocalist of the group "Pornofilmy" Vladimir Kotlyarov (recognized as a foreign agent in the Russian Federation) 50 thousand rubles. He was found guilty of discrediting the armed forces of the Russian Federation. The reason is that he posted a video on the Internet containing "content with a twist on the topic", in which he also spoke negatively about the Northern Military District.
