Lenin Street in Novosibirsk to be pedestrianized for two months
In the New Year, Lenin Street in Novosibirsk will become a pedestrian street.
Today, October 14, 2024, Novosibirsk Mayor Maxim Kudryavtsev announced at a meeting of the Novosibirsk Region Government that the city will begin to decorate for the New Year from November 10.
Particular attention will be paid to Pervomayskaya and Teatralnaya squares, Krasny Prospekt and Lenin Street, which will become pedestrian streets for two months.
“We view the creation of a festive image for the region as an investment in the tourist attractiveness of the city and the Novosibirsk region as a whole,” the mayor said.
Earlier, Sib.fm wrote that one street in the center of Novosibirsk narrowed in two weeks due to heating main repairs.
