SpaceX lands Super Heavy on launch pad for first time

Elon Musk's SpaceX has successfully landed the first stage of its rocket, known as Super Heavy, on a launch pad in Texas for the first time in space history. The event was broadcast live via the company's online resources.

The stage, engulfed in flames, gradually descended onto the platform and stood on top of the special installation "Mechazilla" - a metal tower with mechanized weapons. The super-heavy rocket Starship, designed for the exploration of the Moon and Mars, successfully landed during its fifth test launch.

Elon Musk has previously said that the first flight to Mars will take place in two years. Around 2026, the first unmanned spacecraft will be able to travel to other planets, and four years later - a manned spacecraft. Another goal of the businessman was his plan to build a self-sufficient city on Mars. Perhaps it will appear there in 20 years.
