Official from Nakhodka who swore at a schoolboy resigned
Last week, a student from Primorsky Krai asked the governor a question on social media about the holiday, to which Nakhodka City Hall employee Vladimir Ko responded harshly. He apologized and announced his resignation.
Vladimir Ko, head of the Nakhodka administration's Center for Public Communications Development, resigned after a scandal in which his publication allegedly used obscene language toward male students.
"I made a difficult decision. Today I submitted my resignation. Because I believe that I must answer for my words and actions." Vladimir Ko reported this on his page on the social network VKontakte:
He noted that his remarks to the students were misunderstood and he did not treat the young people carelessly. Ko added that the current generation knows how to surprise and is "full of energy" when interacting with them.
Earlier, on October 31, a student from Primorsky Krai asked the governor a question on social media about the holiday period. In response, Vladimir Go reacted sharply, posting on his account "Victim of ONE", asking the question "Where are these people from" and attaching a screenshot of the teenager's message. In the comments, he also made obscene remarks about students, including using derogatory words in relation to consumers.
The post containing obscene language directed at the student has been removed.
Nakhodka Mayor Timur Maginsky publicly apologized for the former employee's statements on his Telegram channel. "I would like to apologize for the comments of former Nakhodka City Hall employee Vladimir Go on his personal page. He somewhat incorrectly demonstrates a negative attitude towards children, especially towards those who ask various questions on the official's personal page. "Our employees who are directly related to local government bodies do not have the right to express their personal opinions in this format," Maginsky emphasized.
