The Bank of Russia may again raise the key rate to record levels
Moscow, November 4, FederalPress. Analysts predict that the Russian Central Bank will raise interest rates to 22-23% by the end of the year. This was reported by Kommersant, citing experts.
According to the publication, the chances of such a scenario becoming reality increased after the central bank's board decided to raise interest rates by 2 percentage points to 21%, taking into account the latest inflation data. With such high interest rates, mutual funds of money focused on short-term instruments remain highly profitable.
Recall that on October 25, the central bank raised interest rates by 200 basis points to a record level of 21%.
