Жена ветерана ЧВК «Вагнер» рассказала, как в Карелии утонул ее муж
"[His wife] Yulia said that her husband had given many years to his country. He took part in several military campaigns and recently returned from the Union headquarters. He came to Karelia with a friend who had a house on Segozero," the publication writes.
Two friends decided to go fishing. They had been to this lake twice before. This time they took their friend's eight-year-old son Tkachenko with them. For their vacation, the men rented a "strong metal" boat and set sail on the morning of October 28.
At this time the weather in Segozero worsened and Tkacheno called his wife to report a strong wind. Then a storm began and the boat capsized 400 meters from the shore.
"As we know, the ship immediately capsized or rocked violently. While we were carrying water out of one wave, another wave hit us," Tkachenko's wife explained.
After the boat capsized, only the child was able to swim to the nearest island.
"The 8-year-old child was waiting for his father alone on Ogmushari Island. Witnesses recognized him. The boy was hospitalized. Psychologists will work with him," the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
The headlines of the department included the phrase: "Father fishes without a life jacket, son without a father." At the same time, the Ministry of Emergency Situations did not directly indicate that Tkachenko's boat did not have the necessary rescue equipment.
The owner of the boat, which was supposed to be returned by October 29, contacted the police. The body of the boy's father washed up on the shore, and they began to search for Tkachenko. The "Wagnerite"'s wife complained that she was not working hard enough.
"The search is progressing very slowly. The attitude to this seems to be that fishermen drown every month. A car with three rescuers and a diver arrived from Petrozavodsk. As far as I know, he dived once yesterday. Because a large object was found deep in the depths. But it turned out to be a stone." The woman explained.
In addition to the rescuers, three family friends, volunteers and several "concerned locals" took part in the search. But we did not have the necessary equipment.
"There are professional divers from the Russian National Guard in St. Petersburg. They are ready to leave and start working immediately. But we need an official request from the Ministry of Emergency Situations to take all the gear and equipment," the wife explained.
Tkachenko's relatives hoped to the end that he was alive. His wife emphasized that the man had extensive survival experience. However, on the afternoon of November 3, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that the missing man's body had been found.
fought in Syria and Ukraine
Tkachenko was drafted into the army as a child and entered the Suvorov Military School at the age of 13. After graduating, he worked for the police for a while. He served in Wagner for four years and traveled around Syria to write for 47news.ru. At the same time, the Telegram channel "VChK-OGPU" (a recognized foreign agent of the Russian Federation) indicates that Tkachenko carries out "shadow missions around the world" for it, including overseeing mercenary operations in Africa.
The channel claims that Tkachenko was once assigned to spy on the family of Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov. The surveillance was carried out in a van equipped with the necessary equipment for the trip by Tkachenko himself. As a result, he was threatened with treason, caught and detained, after which the man testified against Prigozhin and the right-hand man of the former head of the POC, Alexander Maloletko. A case of surveillance was opened only against Maloletko.
In November 2022, Tkachenko registered as a volunteer for the SVO. As a lieutenant, he served in a sabotage and reconnaissance group based in the Belgorod region. When talking about Tkachenko, the media calls him a scout. In the summer, he returned from the front and got a job at the same security company as his friend who drowned in the lake.
"There were several shrapnel wounds, and at home there is a record of combat effectiveness... There are also foreign awards from the Russian Ministry of Defense. Tkachenko received two medals "For Courage" and three Orders of Courage... He was also awarded a fourth," writes 47news.ru.
