Orban says Brussels is ready to stage a coup in Hungary
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said that EU leaders want to stage a coup in Hungary, Euronews reports.
Orban said Brussels wanted to install a puppet government in Budapest and called on citizens to resist the imposed rules.
When Hungary took over the presidency of the European Parliament, the conflict between Budapest and Brussels intensified. The European Commission froze about 20 billion euros planned for Hungary.
Representatives in Brussels are also dissatisfied with the position of the Hungarian authorities on a number of issues, including their attitude towards the Northern Military District.
Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto recently said that the current conflict in Ukraine would not have arisen if the West had agreed to the security guarantees offered by Russia, a draft treaty presented in 2021.
