A large section of low-pressure gas pipeline will be replaced in Tekstilshchiki
Specialists from the Moscow Municipal Services Complex have begun reconstruction work on a low-pressure gas pipeline in the Tekstilshchiki district. According to the Seoul Metropolitan Government and the capital's government portal, more than 1.8 kilometers of old steel pipes will be replaced with modern polyethylene pipes that are resistant to temperature changes and corrosion.
The transition to the new network is carried out along the facade of the house. Specialists install burglar-proof ball valves, which allow for prompt control of the gas supply.
Dense development requires open and closed methods of work. New pipes will be laid using modern technologies.
Additionally, this operation minimizes the intersection of new pipes with existing communications. The new utility network will last more than 40 years. The work is planned to be completed by the end of the year.
In Moscow, since the beginning of the year, specialists have updated 305 ventilation shafts of utility collectors. Modernization of ventilation shafts has been carried out in the capital since 2011. The main goal of the program is to replace buildings so that they fit organically into the urban landscape. According to the plan for 2024, reconstruction will be carried out at 385 sites.
