Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug has the highest tax burden in Russia
The Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug ranks first among Russian regions in terms of the highest tax burden. The indicator for this region is 56.64%. The data is provided by the Federal Tax Service (FTS).
“The Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug has become the region with the highest tax burden... Here, this level was 56.64%,” writes RBC.
The tax burden is calculated based on the gross regional product according to Rosstat data for 2022. Immediately after the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug comes the Komi Republic with 52.15%, and in third place is its neighbor, the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, with 46.79%.
