Residents of Novosibirsk were reminded of the prohibitions on St. Kharitina's Day
Today (October 18) the Orthodox Church remembers the holy martyr Kharitina. In the folk calendar, this day marks the end of field work and the beginning of home needlework.
Traditionally, one should wear red on Karitin Day, as it is believed that this color attracts love. Conversely, darkness brings bad luck.
Also on this day you can't be lazy, jealous, boast, swear and gossip. I should work harder and pay more attention to everyone around me.
