Contenders for the Best Young Footballer of Europe Award Announced
Tuttosport has published a shortlist of candidates for the Golden Boy award, which is given to the best young footballer of the year in Europe.
In 2024, 25 players will compete for the prize money. Among them are Barcelona attacking midfielder and Spanish national team player Lamin Yamal, England midfielder Kobe Mainu, Real Madrid midfielder and Turkish national team player Arda Guller.
In April last year, a list of 100 nominees for the award was announced. Among them were Russians Nikita Saltykov and Sergey Pinyaev.
The 2023 winner is Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham. The award is open to players aged 21 and under.
