Car owners told when to change tires
In Moscow, drivers are advised to change their tires at the end of October. This advice was shared with car owners by Tatyana Pozdnyakova, senior expert of the Meteonovosti news agency, Vechernyaya Moskva reports.
According to the weather forecaster, pleasant weather is expected to persist in the capital region until the end of the current month. No precipitation is expected, the average daily temperature will be about 5 degrees. Even if the temperature drops at night, driving is not dangerous. A much more serious problem, Pozdnyakova explained, is that rain makes the roads slippery.
Earlier, automobile expert Maxim Kadakov stated that there is no need to replace car tires with studded ones to drive on asphalt in winter. These tires provide traction on snow and ice, making them more suitable for drivers traveling off-road.
