Explosions rocked Kyiv
The explosions were heard in Kyiv amid an air raid warning, Moscow time. Authorities said an air defense operation was underway over the city. The Russian Defense Ministry stressed that the attacks were carried out only on military and energy facilities in Ukraine.
The publications and TV channels reported about the explosion at approximately 01:55 Moscow time. Later, the head of the city administration, Sergei Popko, reported that air defense was operating in Kyiv.
At the time of the explosion, an air raid alarm was sounded in the Ukrainian capital.
The Russian Ministry of Defense emphasizes that attacks are carried out only on military and energy facilities and related infrastructure in Ukraine.
