T-Bank Launches Special Bot Platform to Prevent Investment Fraud - TASS
T-Bank announced the launch of the Cybershkval platform, a special robot designed to combat investment fraud. Bots create fake applications on behalf of real users on websites that have signs of fraud, such as financial pyramids and pseudo-investments. This distracts the attackers and makes it difficult to communicate with citizens.
The Central Bank of Russia annually identifies thousands of fraudulent organizations, and citizens' losses from pseudo-investments amount to billions of rubles. T-Bank uses its own developments in the field of artificial intelligence and voice assistants to complicate the work of fake brokers, forcing them to communicate with bots instead of real clients.
Artificial intelligence scans the Internet for sites advertising dubious investments with 90% accuracy. All suspicious pages undergo additional verification. The bot leaves a request for a consultation on the site, and when a fraudster calls a potential victim, the voice bot connects and maintains the connection.
Some calls are redirected to the Scam Roulette Project, which blocks fraudulent calls and passes them on to users. This project is currently in testing.
