Global oil demand is expected to peak at less than 102 million barrels a day by 2030, falling to 99 million barrels a day in 2035 as electric vehicles become more common, the agency said. The IEA forecasts oil prices to fall from $82 a barrel in 2023 to $75 a barrel in 2050.
Last June, the IEA warned that the world was falling almost a third short of its green energy targets.
