The murders of participants in special operations (SVO) in the Moscow region are contract killings, TASS reports, citing sources in law enforcement agencies.
"According to the preliminary version, this murder was planned and contracted," the agency's source said.
According to him, the attackers were waiting for the soldier's car and were probably monitoring his movements. Other details of the investigation have not yet been disclosed.
Earlier it became known that in the village of Melenki, Solnechnogorsk urban district of Moscow region, a military adjutant who recently returned home from the Northern Military District died. The man's car was shot at from close range. As a result, he died on the spot, and his car, having driven several meters, crashed into a fence. A criminal case was opened.
