Almost 6,000 people banned from renting electric scooters in Novosibirsk
Kicksharing companies have begun to sum up the season and reported that about 6,000 user accounts were blocked.
According to Atas.info, Whoosh banned and fined 4,998 users, and Urent fined almost 700 users. The bans were related to traffic violations, illegal parking, transferring scooters to minors, and traveling with minors.
According to the portal, Urent has increased the fine. For drunk driving - 100,000 rubles, for a joint trip - 5,000, for providing a scooter to a child - 10,000, for being slow at an intersection - 1,000 rubles.
The State Traffic Safety Inspectorate reported that over the summer in Novosibirsk there were 23 traffic accidents involving children, as a result of which 25 minors were injured.
