"There was a terrible roar, cars flew up": two cars collided in Kaliningrad, SUV demolished a fence (photo)

On the streets of Kaliningrad. Gagarin crashed two cars, injuring an 82-year-old woman. Eyewitnesses told Klops about this, and more detailed information was provided by sources in the local emergency service.

The accident occurred at about 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 16, near the Streletskaya intersection. A Nissan SUV and a Mitsubishi pickup truck did not share the road. Both cars were driven by elderly people.

"We were going to go to Streletskaya, but we didn't see the moment of the accident. They crashed a little ahead, and there were many more cars ahead of us. First there was a deafening roar. I saw two cars fly away. They immediately rushed to help. A dark Nissan flew over the fence onto the sidewalk and crashed into a tree. An elderly woman was sitting in the passenger seat. She hit it hard, and the drivers were scared and shocked. I immediately started calling an ambulance and calming them down. They were old and very worried. Alena, an eyewitness to the incident, said: "I'm glad everyone is alive, so I don't have anything to worry about."

The woman added that many people passed by indifferently and did not even pay attention to the victims. Alena was very outraged by this. According to Klops' interlocutor, there was a female doctor among the witnesses. She and a man passing by immediately examined the victim and provided him with support. The witnesses left their phone numbers and began to wait for the ambulance.

According to local doctors, the 82-year-old passenger of the Nissan suffered a bruised chest, broken ribs and leg injuries. The woman was taken to the emergency hospital. The vehicle was driven by an 86-year-old pensioner; there were no casualties. The second driver, 79, got off with bruises and stress. The man refused hospitalization and waited for the traffic police.
