Children maneuvered between cars: Dyatlova stopped chaotic parking in the Moscow district

In Kaliningrad, the problem of chaotic and dangerous parking, which local residents tried to protect, was solved after sidewalks were built on Shedina Street. This was told to Klops by the head of the administration, Elena Dyatlova.

To prevent drivers from driving directly from the road into the area, sidewalks were laid along the road and high curbs were intentionally installed. Drivers did not like this and began to complain to the administration.

"There are new rules now. However, if you want to park your car on site, you need to check in at one place. And you need to accept that," Dyatlova said.

According to the chairman of the road complex committee, the sidewalk in Shchedino is a route for students, as well as a path to a large bus stop.

"Children and pedestrians come first. Before, people just walked between cars parked on the sidewalk. Now we've sorted that out. They raised the side stone to indicate that this area is for pedestrians. The cars stayed on the road," Romanov explained the situation.
