Military expert talks about the situation at the front: almost 99% of LPR liberated
Lugansk, October 16, FederalPress. Russian military may liberate less than 1% of the territory of the Lugansk People's Republic (LPR). This was reported by military expert, retired lieutenant colonel of the LPR People's Militia Andrey Marochko.
According to him, active military operations continue in the Svatovsky direction, in the Kremensky and Lisichansky districts.
Andrey Marochko noted that even the complete liberation of the LPR does not guarantee the safety of citizens.
Experts believe that it is necessary to move the front line and create a buffer zone. NSN reported that this measure will protect residents from long-range weapons of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), the range of which exceeds 40 km.
Earlier, the UA War Infographics project calculated that over the past two months, Russia has liberated 5.5 times more territory in Ukraine than in the whole of 2023.
