Traffic on renovated sections of Perm Highway launched in the Middle Urals

Yekaterinburg, October 16, FederalPress. In the Sverdlovsk region, traffic has begun on a section of the Perm-Yekaterinburg highway, which became four-lane after major repairs. This was reported by the regional department of information policy.

In total, road workers repaired 34.5 kilometers of roads. Now problematic sections of the road 232-250 km (between Achit and Biserty) and 276-326 km (Nizhneserginsky district to Pervouralsk) have become completely four-lane.

On the highway, 14 bridges and overpasses were repaired, 7 roundabouts, 22 intersections and interchanges with Nizhneserginsky District and Pervouralsk settlement were built. New lights, road signs, fences and markings appeared.

The event was launched via video link. Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin, Transport Minister Roman Starovoit, Special Representative of the President of the Urals Federal District Artem Zhoga and First Deputy Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region Alexey Shmykov took part in the event.

FederalPress reminds that earlier 320 km of the Perm highway in the Revdinsky district were recognized as one of the main accident hotspots on the roads of the Sverdlovsk region.
