Боррель: ЕС потратил на Украину 110 млрд евро
European countries spent 42 billion euros on arms supplies to Kyiv. The statement was made today by EU Foreign Minister Josep Borrell. He also noted that the total amount of aid provided to Ukraine amounted to 110 billion euros.
"To date, we have sent 42 billion euros to Ukraine for military needs alone, which will amount to 45 billion euros by the end of this year. Taking into account economic and financial support, it has already reached 110 billion euros. The United States provided this," Borrell explained at a meeting in Brussels.
Last week, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy again appealed to European leaders for help during his next visit to Europe, and today he presented his “winning plan” to the Rada. According to his plan, the Ukrainian army could use its current experience to strengthen its alliances in Europe after eventual accession to NATO and the EU. But the plan does not mean ceding territory or ending the conflict.
In fact, even in Europe itself there is growing discontent with the protracted situation in Ukraine.
