Garbuzov: Moscow Increased Drug Production Thanks to Support Programs

The city is promoting the development of the medical industry. Since the beginning of the year, capital firms have attracted significant funds to expand production.

The details were given by the Minister of the Moscow Government, Director of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy Anatoly Garbuzov. "Thanks to preferential investment loans from the Moscow Fund for Support of Industry and Entrepreneurship, over more than nine months of the year, Moscow manufacturers of pharmaceuticals and medical devices managed to attract more than 40 billion rubles," said Anatoly Garbuzov.

According to him, the funds are used to expand production and increase the production of essential goods. For example, the company SP Gelpik, specializing in X-ray diagnostic equipment, attracted 1.5 billion rubles to build a new plant with an area of 15,000 m2. It is planned to be commissioned at the end of 2025. The Elta enterprise, which produces glucometers and blood sugar measuring devices, attracted 350 million rubles to build a "clean" building with an area of 14,000 m2. And the capital's Profilabtest attracted 110 million rubles in preferential investment loans to purchase its own production and warehouse complex. To receive a preferential loan, you must enter into a loan agreement and contact the Moscow Fund for the Support of Industry and Entrepreneurship. If your application is approved, an agreement will be concluded to reimburse you for part of the interest expenses.
