Steam has removed all prohibited material and is not blocked.
Roskomnadzor told TASS that the Steam gaming platform has removed all materials banned in the Russian Federation.
The agency said that over the past week, 11 pages containing illegal content were removed from online services. In total, more than 260 units of prohibited material were found.
Last week, the media learned that Roskomnadzor had added three new Steam pages to its registry of banned sites. There were concerns that this would lead to the platform being blocked. However, by law, resources first receive a notice demanding that illegal content be removed.
Roskomnadzor previously reported that it does not plan to block the Steam platform in Russia.
