The press secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Irina Volk reported on her Telegram channel that the site, which is part of the hardware and software complex "Official Internet Site of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia", is not working for technical reasons beyond the control of the department.
On the evening of October 15, the websites of the Russian Interior Ministry, its headquarters, and the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate were blocked. According to TASS, the ministry's official websites and services are unavailable from at least three Internet providers in Moscow. The page does not load in my browser. In addition, users cannot use VPN services to access the department's Internet resources.
Information about technical problems in the operation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs website appeared in the Telegram channel of the state system for detecting warnings and eliminating the consequences of computer attacks.
On October 10, hackers carried out a large-scale attack on the websites of RIA Novosti and Sputnik, as well as other resources of the media group "Russia Today". This affected the security and IT services.
