Violators of the peace pay 5 thousand rubles

The fine for violating Russian noise standards ranges from 500 to 3,000 rubles, and in repeated cases can reach 5,000 rubles. This was reported in an interview with RIA Novosti by public figure and housing and utilities expert Dmitry Bondar.

"The issue of noise pollution remains relevant. Specific fines are set at the local level, but on average across the country for the first violation it ranges from 500 to 3,000 rubles. In case of repetition, the amount may increase to 5,000 rubles," Bondar said.

Additionally, the expert raised the issue of fines in the amount of 1,000 to 5,000 rubles in accordance with local regulations and laws for littering in common areas of an apartment building.

According to Bondar, these fines may seem insignificant, but the overall amount of fines, especially for systematic violations, can seriously affect the financial situation of a citizen. He also warned that failure to pay fines can lead to serious consequences, including restrictions on international travel.

Last August, LDPR representatives proposed increasing fines for exceeding the permissible noise level of cars and motorcycles from 500 rubles to 25 thousand rubles. The proposal emphasizes the need for stricter noise regulation in public places and concerns about the quality of life in the city.
