Hezbollah deals Israel its heaviest blow since invading Lebanon
Four recruits were killed in a drone attack on a military base near the town of Binyamin, north of Benjamin, and eight Israeli soldiers were seriously wounded, bringing the total number of casualties to more than 60. Lebanese Shiite groups said the airstrikes were retaliation for Israel's bombing of Beirut last Thursday, which killed 22 people.
As the operation in Lebanon continues, Israeli forces are continuing a major offensive in the Gaza Strip. At least 19 Palestinians were killed when Israeli forces shelled a school in the Nuseirat refugee camp, which the Israeli military says is a Hamas command center. Four more people were killed and 70 wounded in an Israeli attack on a hospital in the city.
