Perm authorities will spend tens of millions of rubles on the EPOS service
The Perm Krai authorities are looking for a contractor to provide services for the support and operation of the automated information system "Electronic Education System of Perm (EPOS)" through electronic trading. It is planned to spend 49 million rubles for these purposes.
"You must provide prompt technical support for users, analysis of EPOS operation and user behavior, installation of updates, system configuration, monitoring, diagnostics of faults and restoration of functionality in emergency situations," the auction task states. The document states that the contract execution period is 397 calendar days from the date of signing. EPOS, a system that allows school teachers to keep electronic journals and diaries, record homework and mark attendance, began operating in 2019. After that, kindergartens, universities and technical schools were connected.
Earlier, URA.RU reported on user complaints about failures in the EPOS educational service. Parents could not see their children's schedules, and some could not even log in to the system. The authorities explained that the problem arose due to technical work.
