"I don't need him. I wanted a daughter": Nanny wants to go to court to adopt a boy who was sent to a private boarding school by his rich mother

Former nanny Tatyana Kalentieva has been trying for over four years to get the right to at least see the child she raised for seven years. We talked about this terrible story, but it looks like there may be a new, unexpected twist in this case.

Thus, in 2013, Muscovite Elena Zagornaya (the names of her mother and children have been changed) hired a woman from Tatarstan to look after her newborn son. Kalentieva and the boy lived in a separate apartment on Leningradsky Prospekt. The mother explained that the boy had a twin sister.

Tatyana recalls: "About a month later, Lena told me that the surrogate mother had given birth to her child. "She said that she really wanted a girl, but she was given two. Although a boy was not in her plans. And can you imagine her telling me this? "Don't you want to take this child forever? I don't need him."

Pensioner Kalentieva refused at that time. Soon Elena suggested that she return to the house in Naberezhnye Chelny to little Grisha "for a short while". She also issued a power of attorney for this. She continued to pay for the nanny's services, but now she lived with the child in another city.

- I swear. During this time, Lena never called her, and when I sent her a photo, she responded with a short "Thank you." No emotions! I realized that she didn't need the boy. At some point, he started calling me "Mom." I told him that I had a mother and sister in Moscow. But he didn't understand. "I've never seen them!"

In 2020, Elena demanded that Kalentieva bring Grisha to Moscow. Now it was time to enroll him in school. By that time, the woman finally realized that his mother did not need this unfortunate boy, and tried to stand up for him. Guardian Chelny even filed a lawsuit in Moscow to deprive him of parental rights, but the papers were rejected due to violations. . Grisha was handed over to his mother. But they never accepted him into their family. My child has been studying at a private boarding school for four years. He is taken home only on weekends and not constantly. Tatyana Kalentieva is suing to obtain the right to see her children once every three months. When Grisha was dragged away, he screamed that he should not leave his "mother" who raised him. The nanny says that she cannot betray the child, so she fights for him.

But here the question arises. Where did Elena get Grisha from?

- At some point, Lena and I developed a trusting relationship. She knew that I was also a masseuse, and she started bringing her little daughter to my sessions and asking me to give her a massage. Here. First, she told the story of a surrogate mother who allegedly gave birth to two daughters at once instead of giving birth as prescribed. Then she said that she went to the maternity hospital for several days, where she handed over the children. I saw a document with the maternity hospital number (the woman did not remember - author). I was surprised to learn that the document was published only for children. It did not include parents. According to the newspaper, Elena also said that she gave birth by caesarean section. But I massaged her several times and saw her without clothes. I can swear that Lena does not have scars from a caesarean section!

You can trust Kalentieva, but you can't trust her. But there is such a thing. In 2020, the guards of Naberezhnye Chelny asked their colleagues in Moscow about this strange family. The administration of the Golovinsky district (where Elena is registered) responded that they checked the living conditions of the employees of the guardianship "Yakimanka" (where the woman actually lived with her daughter). The experts left no doubt about the family's wealth. He said: "My older sister does not know my younger brother and has never seen him, and there is no information about my son in my citizen's passport." (A copy of the document is with the editors.)

That is, the unfortunate boy (his mother didn’t really need him) wasn’t even included in the documents!

The court issued a marriage certificate for Elena Zagornaya, concluded a year before the birth of her children. In the "Husband" column, an Egyptian citizen named Mohammed is listed. Kalentieva says that she saw Elena's man several times. He was an old Frenchman named Roger. Grisha's birth certificate also lists his patronymic "Alekseevich." Elena has "Alekseyevna." Like in the film "Moscow Does Not Believe in Tears," it seems that my grandfather wrote down my middle name.

But that's not the question. Why does Elena have such different versions of the child's birth? Did she give birth to a surrogate mother or was she hospitalized in a maternity hospital? Why did she talk about a cesarean section that never happened?

I just remembered this. The criminal case is being investigated in Moscow by mothers of many children, Yulia Loginova and Natalia Patoka. According to the investigation, they began selling newborns. The babies were taken from mothers who did not need them. And the legalization process was organized like this. The "buyer" (in at least one of the episodes, it was Loginova herself) went to a private maternity hospital, where, according to the documents, someone else's child was registered in her name. As if she herself had given birth.

Tatyana Kalentieva shows a message Elena sent her in 2020, when the boy was still living in Naberezhnye Chelny. "Roger and I would like to take Grisha and Anya (the writers' daughters) and donate their DNA to determine their relationship as siblings. "We need to know for sure whether they are related or not," he said.

how is that? That is, did Elena suspect that the children she gave birth to were related? However, if an agreement had been reached with the surrogate mother and everything had been done through a legal consultation, such questions could not have arisen.

I tried to contact Elena. At least a few years ago, she lived with her daughter in an apartment near the Oktyabrskaya metro station. There are three doors on the floor. The buildings are expensive, Stalin-era, with high ceilings. A two-bedroom apartment costs between 25 and 30 million dollars.

"There was actually a mother and child living here, but I haven't seen them for over a year." The neighbor approved.

I'm going to the "boarding house" where Grisha lives and studies. But the private school "Russian Harvard" sounds nice. In fact, the institution occupies several rooms on the first floor of a simple panel high-rise building on Varshavskoe Shosse. However, the name of the school is probably familiar to many. Former director Vasilisa Maslova was sentenced to nine years in prison in 2023 for ordering the murder of her lover's wife. She incited her 20-year-old male and female former students to kill the woman. The victim lost a lot of blood, but survived. And I thought that after that scandal the school was closed.

A heavy metal door. No outsiders allowed. However, pretending to be an interested parent, I called the school in advance and estimated the budget for the child's stay here.

- Fourth grade? Tuition is 52,000 rubles per month." A school representative said by phone. - However, if the child demonstrates good knowledge during the interview, the payment amount can be reduced to 42.2 thousand. Accommodation is also possible. It costs 16,000 more per month.

The monthly amount, including all expenses, is about 60-70,000. Elena pays too much money to leave her son at home.

"There are only a few apartments there, bought in the 1990s," explains a resident of a high-rise building strolling through the park opposite. "You can imagine how crowded it is. After school, if the weather is good, the children can run around outside and play in the public playground. There are not many people there, 15-20.

What I find hardest to understand in this story is the position of the guardianship authorities. Why are they torturing the child if the mother doesn't need the child and the child has been living outside the family for 11 years?

"The biological mother is definitely lying," says Olga Krokhaleva, a highly qualified gynecologist and reproductive specialist. - When a surrogate mother gives birth, the biological parents always ask how many embryos were transferred. Without consent, no more than 1 or 2 will be added. Likewise, a second embryo cannot be implanted without the consent of the surrogate mother. In addition, if the couple wants to have a female child, modern technology allows for testing in advance and selecting healthy embryos of the desired sex. If a girl is needed, the girl is transferred to the surrogate mother.

- Could it be that one embryo was transferred and two children were born?

-There are cases when the embryo in the uterine cavity spontaneously splits in half. And then you will have completely identical identical twins. Then the pregnancy will proceed normally and the "extra" embryo will not be removed. However, as in this story, not only identical twins can be of different sexes. And they are always the same, like two peas in a pod.

- Have there been any cases in your practice where “clients” or surrogate mothers who gave birth to twins encountered problems related to the number or gender of the children?

- There were rumors that the genetic parents were unhappy with the "quality" of the surrogate mother's work. There was a premature birth, which often happens when twins are born. The children are not born with extremely low birth weight. Their lives were not in danger. But the "client" said: "Oh, they are ugly and we don't like them." The couple said that the surrogate mother did not live up to their expectations and paid only half the cost. Although the children were taken away. I don't know how this story ended up in court.

- The mother doesn't need the child at all. We base this conclusion on the fact that the child lives and studies in a closed boarding school. I was told that he is not accepted on holidays and weekends. He was given to a foster home. And his younger sister also lives with their mother. In addition, the family does not need anything. Boarding schools are paid. This situation cannot be resolved without the participation of competent authorities. I believe that the rights of children have been seriously violated. According to the document, he lives in a boarding school with a living mother, who is listed as biological, and a woman who raised him from an early age and dreams of adopting him. Nonsense!

- There are questions about the origin of Grisha and Anya...

- The authorities must understand this. It does not necessarily have to be so, it even has to be so. With the help of DNA, it is not difficult to determine whether this woman is the biological mother. (According to the version about the Caesarean section - author). And if the child was born from a surrogate mother, some documents should have been stored in the hospital under an agreement with the surrogate mother. If all this were official. It is not a problem to establish all this for the investigation.
