Choking in Parents' Arms: Six-Year-Old Boy's Life Saved by Traffic Police Officers in Kabardino-Balkaria

In Kabardino-Balkaria, a traffic inspector saved the life of a six-year-old boy. The traffic police officers were working outside the village of Kuba-Taba. The police did not signal this, but suddenly a car stopped near them. The driver of the car told law enforcement that a nervous man with a child in his arms was standing near the stop.

Traffic police investigators Adam Shogenov, Anzor Dyshekov and Aslan Kugotov immediately left for the scene to sort out the whole situation. When they arrived, they saw a couple holding a boy in their arms. The police began questioning the parents and found out that the child needed urgent help. He had an asthma attack and was shaking all over.

The Russian Interior Ministry media reported: “The police placed the mother and child in a patrol car and then urgently took them to a medical facility.”

The traffic police officers turned on their flashing lights and rushed to the hospital at full speed. The doctor immediately examined the six-year-old boy and provided him with all the necessary assistance. The doctors said that his life was saved thanks to the attentive attention of the police. If the child had been brought later, everything could have ended badly.

He remained in the hospital until police were satisfied that the boy's life and health were not in danger. After that, they would return to their normal duties.
