On his page on the social network VKontakte, he noted that for him this was a difficult but important decision.
Alexander Malikov added that he had repeatedly heard stories about the exploits of the Young Guard, an underground organization that helped the Soviet government fight fascism. He pointed out to him that these people were moral mentors.
