On October 14, a double-decker train Moscow-Novorossiysk opened. The route includes stops in Voronezh, Rostov-on-Don, Krasnodar and other cities.

Novorossiysk is the last city in the south of Russia where double-decker trains do not run from the capital, the Russian Railways press service reports.

The train consists of compartments and SV carriages equipped with air conditioning, drying rooms, individual sockets and other amenities.

The most popular railway routes in Russia last summer were such cities as Anapa, Sochi, Novorossiysk and Kislovodsk, as well as the Crimean coast. The train made 25.4 thousand trips between them. This is 2.5% more than in the same period last year. And a record number of passengers used it - 13.8 million.
