A video from the scene of the accident in which Voronezh Regional Duma deputy Yevgeny Gaponenko died has been published. The recording of the incident was published on social networks.
The published video shows traffic police and emergency vehicles. A little further down the road is a KamAZ truck, which the parliamentarian's car collided with.
The recording was made at 7:21. The accident happened much earlier, around 6 o'clock.
Investigators have launched an investigation. Eyewitnesses reported that the deputy's body had to be removed from the Land Cruiser with the assistance of the Department of Emergency Situations.
