Gunman Tries to Enter Trump Rally in California
Wham Miller of Las Vegas, Nevada, was arrested outside a rally for Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump in Coachella, California, on October 12.
According to KTLA, Miller was attempting to enter the event using a counterfeit badge. The Riverside County Sheriff's Office said police "may have foiled another assassination attempt."
The US general election will be held on November 5. Republican Trump and Democrat Kamala Harris will compete for the presidency. Trump was the 45th president of the United States and held the post from 2017 to 2021. He lost the 2020 election to incumbent Democrat Joe Biden and is currently trying to return to the White House. Harris is Biden's vice president.
Carlson spoke about the changes after the assassination attempt on Trump.
The assassination attempts on Trump were made in July and September. President Trump is demanding military aircraft and vehicles to protect him from threats to his life allegedly coming from Iran, the Washington Post reported on October 11, citing sources and documents obtained.
