What is the water temperature in the Black Sea at the resorts of the Krasnodar region
The velvet season at the Black Sea resorts of the Krasnodar region continues.
According to the Regional Hydrometeorological Center, on the morning of October 12, the water temperature in the Black Sea off the coasts of Tuapse, Novorossiysk, Sochi, Gelendzhik and Anapa was +23 degrees.
The Sea of Azov has become uncomfortable for swimming since September. In Yeisk and Primorsko-Akhtarsk, the water temperature dropped to +17 degrees, and in Temryuk - to +18 degrees.
As reported earlier, the scientific director of the Russian Hydrometeorological Center Roman Vilfand said that the velvet season at the Black Sea resorts of the Krasnodar Territory in 2024 will last longer than usual.
Thunderstorms and a cold wave will come to Krasnodar Krai as early as October 13. Forecasters predict that the temperature will drop to +20 degrees in Krasnodar and +23 degrees on the coast.
A storm warning has been issued for the area due to severe weather and tornadoes. Dangerous craters may appear over the sea from Anapa to Magri on October 13 and 14.
