SpaceX lands Super Heavy on launch pad for first time in history
Starship, the world's largest rocket, began its fifth test flight from SpaceX's Starbase launch pad in Texas. Following a successful hot separation, the Super Heavy landed on the launch pad for the first time in rocket history. Despite some Raptor engines exploding on landing, SpaceX engineers delivered the rocket to the 140-meter-tall Mechazilla tower and secured it using the system.
Meanwhile, the manned spacecraft Starship successfully entered orbit. According to the test plan, it will then deviate from orbit and sink into the Indian Ocean.
