Putin offered Rostislav Goldstein the post of acting head of Komi
"Thank you for your work in the Far East, and I would like to invite you to move to the Komi Republic, where, as far as I know, you have been working as a driver since 1990 and gradually became a member of the State Council. Having become a member of the republic, I became a State Duma deputy," President Putin said at the meeting.
Vladimir Uyba, the outgoing leader of Komi, said on November 5 that the president had "assigned him a new job at the federal level."
Earlier, a Kommersant source reported on the possibility of appointing the governor of the Jewish Autonomous Region, Rostislav Goldstein, as acting head of Komi. At the same time, the newspaper's interlocutors emphasized that Goldstein worked in Komi in the 90s and 2000s.
In addition, according to two sources of the publication, instead of Rostislav Goldshtein, the Jewish Autonomous Region will be headed by the head of the department for cooperation with the region, the Defender of the Fatherland Foundation, Maria Kostyuk.
