Israel raises army alert in anticipation of Iranian response
According to the publication, IDF personnel are assessing the situation daily, and intelligence gathering processes have been intensified. The Israeli Air Force is also on high alert, RIA Novosti reports.
The report says that at the moment there is no exact data on the timing of a possible response from Iran. However, there is a possibility that a response will come from Syria, Yemen, Iraq, etc.
At the same time, military sources say Iran's response could be delayed by several days due to the upcoming US presidential elections and warnings from US authorities.
On November 2, Major General Ali Mohammad Naeini, a spokesman for Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, said Tehran's response to the Israeli attack was unexpected and exceeded all expectations.
