Putin appoints head of UAC Slyusar acting governor of Rostov region
As the Russian leader noted, the region has great potential and good achievements, but the situation there must change for the better. He promised Slyusar support in his new position.
"The most important thing is that people see your energy, your desire to work for the benefit of Rostov residents, and believe in your sincere desire to change the situation and change it for the better," Putin said.
In addition, he instructed the new governor of the province to actively participate in local economic activities. Slyusar expressed gratitude to the President for the trust he had shown.
Former Rostov Region Governor Vasily Golubev decided to resign on November 4 due to a transfer to another position. He noted that many pressing issues were resolved and numerous projects important for the region were implemented during his work.
He also expressed gratitude to President Putin and the Russian government for their interest and support in all matters of the region. Golubev also expressed gratitude to those who helped the Rostov Region take effective measures in its development.
