If the Central Bank raises interest rates again in December, investors in capital apartments will have to pay higher rent, says Alexander Prisyazhnyuk, director of the investment department at Russian Agricultural Bank Asset Management. This is because they purchased the house on more expensive loan terms. Therefore, if the base interest rate increases by 1%, landlords may respond by raising rents for housing by at least 5% as early as January 2025, the expert added.
