Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ismail Baghai said the country had prepared a response to Israel's recent attacks on the Islamic Republic. It would be "defined and determined," the Mehr news agency reported.
Bagai spoke about this at a press conference dedicated to the Student's Day, which is celebrated on November 4 (13 Aban). He congratulated students on the holiday, which "has become a symbol of Iran's independence" and raised a number of international issues.
Baghai said that "Iran will respond to the Israeli regime" and the response will be "decisive and convincing."
He said Iranian diplomats had been active in the past week, with the foreign minister speaking on the phone with his counterparts from Saudi Arabia, Indonesia and Qatar to exchange views on regional issues.
Baghay added that the main problems are the genocide in Palestine and the current Israeli aggression in Lebanon. As long as this is happening, the region is on the brink of war.
