МИД КНР прокомментировал предварительные итоги выборов в Молдавии
The official representative of the Chinese Foreign Ministry, Mao Ning, stated that China respects the choice of the Moldovan people and expressed readiness to continue developing Chinese-Moldovan relations, TASS reports.
According to the Central Election Commission of Moldova, incumbent President Maia Sandu is leading in the second presidential election with 99.73% of the votes counted, gaining 55.36% of the votes, while former Prosecutor General Alexandru Stoianoglo received 44.64% of the votes.
Macron addressed Sandu after winning the elections in Moldova.
The Foreign Ministry representative summed up that China is ready to cooperate with Chisinau to promote the development of bilateral relations.
