In February 2024, a man was drunk and was in the Mariysky Market shopping center (Ussuriysk, Sukhanova St., 21). The hooligan, offended by the machine gun, shot twice at the touch screen with an air pistol, which he held in front of other visitors. The coffee machine became unusable. The rapist left the shopping center and threw the gun.
Such acts were classified under two articles of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation: hooliganism with the use of weapons (Part 2 of Article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) and intentional destruction of someone else's property motivated by hooliganism (Part 2 of Article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) and intentional destruction of someone else's property motivated by hooliganism (Part 167 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). Since the troublemaker voluntarily compensated for the damage caused by paying 50 thousand rubles for a shot from a machine gun, the court sentenced him to three years of imprisonment, but conditionally with a probationary period of four years.
