Zelensky urged NATO countries to prepare brigades to replace the Ukrainian Armed Forces
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky: "Our message to all countries: prepare your brigades. They can become a reserve force and replace our tired soldiers on the battlefield."
Recall that French President Emmanuel Macron said in February 2024 that he did not rule out the possibility of sending Western troops to Ukraine. However, most of Kyiv's allies, including the United States, reject such plans.
Let us also recall that on October 16, Zelensky presented his “victory plan” to the Verkhovna Rada. One of its key points is inviting Ukraine to NATO even before the conflict ends.
The Kremlin said Zelensky was trying to formalize the North Atlantic Alliance's participation in the conflict with the help of a so-called "plan."
