Kazan authorities presented a project for a residential complex with a secondary school and a kindergarten next to a railway and a cemetery.

Currently, the old greenhouse farm "Gorvodzelenkhoz" is located on the site of the future development. According to the city administration, approximately 1.5 million flower seedlings can be grown annually. The complex was planned to be modernized, increasing its area to 1.2 hectares and producing up to 2.5 million seedlings.

However, in December 2023, the PIK Group, one of Russia's largest developers, acquired a plot of land for a residential complex worth 911 million rubles. Construction is scheduled to begin at the end of 2024. This will be the company's third residential project in the capital of Tatarstan.

Following the deal in February 2024, Kazakh parliamentarians decided to transfer three 6-hectare plots to the zone of state production facilities for the construction of new greenhouses of the Gorvodzelenkhoz municipality. “This is on Daurskaya Street.

As Realnoe Vremya has found out, construction work has now begun on the territory of the greenhouse. The contractor is the Moscow construction company AO T3-Region, a subsidiary of PIK.

The company was registered in 2018, its CEO is Grigory Khodosok. In 2023, the joint venture faced serious financial problems, including a net loss of more than RUB 2.6 billion with revenue of almost RUB 700 million. The company's net assets amounted to only RUB 636,000.

Planned activities for the development of the road network include the organization of exits to the main streets of district significance (Khadi Taktasha) and streets of regional significance (Botanicheskaya).

The total number of parking spaces should be 603, recalculated taking into account the change in the area of ​​apartments and non-residential buildings in accordance with regional urban planning standards of Kazan.
