Dimitrovsky Bridge in Novosibirsk has been fully opened to traffic
Traffic on the Dimitrov Bridge in Novosibirsk has been reopened to vehicles.
Drivers can now move along six traffic lanes, Mayor Maxim Kudryavtsev reported on his Telegram channel.
Yesterday, asphalt was laid on the crossing from the left bank to the right, restricting traffic on the overpass for a day. The work was carried out by a new contractor, Dorsib Plus LLC, which replaced SK Roads of Egypt due to the failure to meet deadlines.
Kudryavtsev noted that the new contractor worked at an accelerated pace, pulling out equipment during the day and closing one of the traffic lanes in the middle of the bridge. Plans also include opening the Oktyabrsky Bridge to six-lane traffic, and new repairs to the Dimitrovsky Bridge are scheduled for 2025 due to violations in the installation of concrete foundations by the previous contractor.
